US Presidents

I’m not really sure why I’m particularly interested in U.S. Presidents. I suppose it’s because there are loads of other things I really do like about the States, and also because it involves a list. Through watching TV and films when you’re growing up, you get a sense of what America is like and, yes, there’s an awful lot wrong with the place, but at the same time there’s so much that fascinates me. From the first time we went, San Francisco in 1993, I just loved it and have wanted to go back as often as possible ever since. On our third visit, Chicago 2000, I got absolutely hooked on baseball (Go White Sox!) and a trip to a ball game is something we now always try to include in the itinerary. In Washington, the two interests came together beautifully.
